I appreciate having occasional movies that can stand on their own and do not need to rely on you watching others in the series. The OG character origin stories for instance. You can watch them whenever and just enjoy them, but you can also watch the others in the series if you want to see more. This is one of those origin stories. I do have some mixed feelings on if they did a good job representing the time period correctly but that's mostly because it takes place in a period when technology was starting to shift but also we have the fact that it is in a fictitious world with alien species. I also appreciate the growth of the character as they learn they knew wrong, that they were originally part of the problem and they changed to become part of the solution. Would have loved to know more about this alien species that resembles cats though, that's for sure.

- So are they like Skye from SHIELD?
- I thought the Kree had colored skin?
- In other words, you are upset about her being part human?
- SEE! The Kree are blue!!
- The Kree are led by A.I.?
- So her powers aren't real? They are from the A.I.? From that disk on her neck?
- Isn't that guy from the Thor movies? The gatekeeper guy?
- Their suits make me think of PJ Masks from Disney Jr.
- Good thing she did a double check through the scope.
- The Kree are helping her unlock her memories?
- Are they confused by the fact that she is human?
- What are they trying to get her to see?
- Why do they want Lawson? A lightspeed engine? Are they actually connected?
- On the bright side, having those on her hands protects her from bruising her knuckles.
- Why does the helmet push her hair up into a mohawk like that? It's weird.
- Did she just crash down on Earth? They were taking her home?
- He just isn't going to do anything about her walking out the broken window? Did he see her crash land?
- NOW they respond to the burglary scene?
- They are dressed and acting like the Men in Black? When is that crossover gonna happen?
- Why would you choose a grandma to disguise yourself?
- That guy is thinking how the alien stole his face.
- Yeah, I thought Colson seemed a little off. I just thought maybe it was because it was meant to be a younger version of him though.
- Dude, when did SHIELD first become a thing, and what year is it in this movie??
- What did she do with her own outfit?
- Will anybody recognize her? Like how she has the memories of being here, will somebody recognize her and tell her her real name?
- How is he supposed to know a Skroll can't do that?
- Did he leave his ID on the desk?
- How did she get onto Earth to work with the Air Force if she was Kree?
- Who are all these other spies?
- Calling it a communicator so formally like that makes me think of Kim Possible.
- Why would we hop into the plane BEFORE knowing if we can fly it??
- They knew without any hesitation that it was her.
- Is any of this going to overwhelm her?
- That child was calmer than most, finding out she was treating an alien like she would her mom.
- Is the cat actually an alien?
- And WHY exactly would we not let women fly planes? She looks like she is doing just fine to me.
- She absorbed the energy core? That's how she got the powers?
- So the Kree are the villains? Fitting that they are run by AI, and people hate AI in modern times huh?
- Fury is too calm. Why is he so calm?
- I know the point was just to get rid of the Kree colors but you still wear a very similar style outfit to them so like why did you keep the outfit at all?
- Why is his blood in her veins? How did her body even accept it? Is her blood blue now then or is it still red?
- How was she able to control its cloaking device if she has never been on the ship before? Also how has nothing bumped into it before?
- Did we really think his human pew pew was going to do anything to hurt all of them anyway?
- What even is a Fleurkin?
- The supreme entity can pull her from her consciousness even without her going into that building? What is the point of the building then? To make them feel like they have a choice?
- How did she know that thing was limiting her power?
- Okay so the cat is indeed alien... how are we going to get that out of the cat though?
- The little leg wiggle is cute.
- She has so much sass.
- Why did the cat go toward the Kree? Do they smell like the master who died?
- OH IT ISN'T ACTUALLY KREE! IT'S THE SHAPESHIFTER!!
- Did they ALL fit into that plane?
- That is some very skilled flying.
- Are those Kree ships or...?
- They genuinely looked confused and scared of her.
- Why should she prove anything to you??
- That's how he loses his eye? The cat?
- So how are we going to explain this to the US Government?
- So she doesn't need the mask to breathe in space anymore?
- How do they know who is missing? Also has Fury ever used the Marvel signal before?
- Did they switch actresses? She looks different... her hair is thinner and she looks thinner.
- What if she had been part of the group that vanished? What then?
- Just casually hacks up the tesseract on the desk... good good.
