Marvel Movie Reviews w/ Rambo - Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

  

To be honest, I am mostly rating this film this highly because the fact that Thor got to have a redemption arc with Jane involved, that is the cincher here. His daughter is an extra plus but it isn't their actual daughter it's somebody else's daughter that he is raising as his own now. I do wish that more could have been done to help save Jane, especially seeing as though the hammer allowed her to transform into Thor herself. Why would the hammer suck the life out of her like that when it promised Thor to take care of her? Also, why is it that in these instances, when Jane grabbed the hammer it deemed her worthy and transformed her but whenever somebody else grabbed it in previous films, even if they were worthy, there was no major transformation that took place? I would love to hear the science behind that.

• Who are these people? Are they Asghardians?
• I mean, at least he was respectful enough to back away when accused of thievery.
• That is a very self-righteous god who does not deserve to be worshipped.
• Ohhhhh, is this movie going to be about KOing Thor?
• Going into battle with a baby strapped to your chest is wild.
• "... and his brother, and his brother again, and again." lol
• Planting his weapon and then using it as a broom to fly into battle is kind of funny.
• Ma'am, you just ripped his book.
• Aw, Jane has cancer. And she isn't telling anyone?
• Yay! Jane went to the Asghardian town to find Thor!
• I don't know if that power suit is the right choice for her.
• LMAO How much money do you think Old Spice paid to be in the movie?
• Melissa McCarthy is great.
• The hammer is moving... is her presence going to fix it and call for Thor?
• Screaming goats are going with us. Great.
• Was a notification sent out that Asghard moved? How does he know to go to Earth for it instead of the destroyed remains of the other planet?
• Is she fighting in pajamas?
• Excuse me, but we didn't even get to see her transform?!?
• That is a pretty cool feature, having it split into the pieces like that.
• When did all of this dating stuff happen with everything that was going on?
• FURY HAS TWO Rs?!?
• Okay, cool, we officially know how they broke up. I want to see her turning into a god! I especially want to see her best friends reaction to her becoming a god.
• Why are the monsters taking the children?
• I don't know if I like this blonde look on Jane.
• Making the axe jealous by trying to call the hammer lol.
• OH! It's the son of the gatekeeper! He had a wife and kid?
• Do we really need to bring the screaming goats?
• Thor's outfit in this movie is too bright and colorful for me. It's like Capt. threw up on him.
• Aww, Jane's mom had the cancer too?
• Feast on the children? Really Thor?
• ...We are using the goats to pull the ship on a rainbow?
• Okay but which colors represent which emotions?
• A dumplin? As a God?
• So why did Thor need a disguise? Is he not a god and invited to go?
• Ohhhhh so the Gods have a hierarchy too and look down on lesser Gods. Great.
• HE IS NAKED! Lmao Did those ladies pass out from him being naked?
• How does spinning it like that make it a sphere?
• Has anyone tried to reach Eternity?
• What is the key?
• He's not wrong. They didn't say go.
• GHORG!
• HE KILLED ZEUS!?!
• Those things in the window as they were leaving, looked kind of like the thing from the Eternals that wanted to end the world.
• His axe is very temperamental.
• Wow, she just confessed about her cancer.
• Aww, they made up and kissed, how sweet.
• So the lack of color is just the darkness? Why does the hammer bring color to her?
• Why did she just throw his axe out like that?
• OOOOOHHHH it's a key.
• Are you on the same path though? Because I don't think she actually expected any eternal gift from the Gods by using the hammer to heal herself. She was just trying not to die...
• Well, I don't know how we are getting home now with no ship...
• NO! WHY DID YOU LET GO THOR!?!
• Is it the red stuff that was in her at one point? Is that what is preventing the cancer from being removed?
• The hammer is draining her energy? How do we make it so it gives her energy instead?

• These kids are vicious man.
• Aw, she isn't going to make it out of these battle is she?
• Is the door open? Could he go make a wish?
• Aww, he is going to wish his daughter back alive?
• She turned into Star Dust, did she go to Valahala?
• Aww, Jane got a statue.
• Thor having a daughter is so cute. How did she get powers?
• Oh, she got the powers because she was born from eternity?
• I'm still a little sad that the dad didn't also wish for Jane to be saved so she could help raise the daughter...
• Oh, Zeus isn't dead.
• You became the joke when you stopped actually helping them and worried about your own desires instead.
• Hercules??
