When you take a position with a company you are taking a
commitment to serve your employer and follow every direction they give you even
when you may not agree. Usually included in this agreement is your character
which you present to peers, superiors, and those whom you serve. You may not
always be able to please everyone surrounding you but you must do your best,
otherwise you risk being let go from your position. As difficult as this may
seem, it is what the real world is like, or should be anyway.
Yes sir.
No ma’am.
Dress right dress.
Stainless clothes.
Sergeant, Corporal, General, Chief,
Manager.
If this is all part of your job,
you best do it like you were told in training. It is not up to you rules are
followed and which are not. And while you may begin to feel comfortable in your
position after your trial period is up, no matter how lenient your supervisor
may become with you. Never relax for a moment. Dare to loosen up and they will
snap you right back in to place. Just because others in your same position are
doing it does not mean that you can follow suit. You will ultimately be the one
caught and only you will be reprimanded for the actions taken.
Suck it up buttercup. That is the
real world. There are no crying rooms here.
