I am sure that my brothers had played Minecraft before I had but even if they did, we were all watching YouTube videos together. Creators like Mumbo Jumbo and his HermitCraft Server were one of our favorites. Eventually, we would acquire an Xbox 360 in our house and convince our parents to get the Bedrock version of Minecraft. The great thing about playing on the console over PC, all four of us could play on the same device at the same time. Not to mention we did not have to stay near each other on the map. Initially though, there were not infinite maps in the Bedrock version of the game, so our spaces were relatively close to one another. But as with many games, Minecraft has continued to grow and change with the times. Adding more monsters and friendly creatures, new textiles and building blocks, fun new biomes to explore and tons of new food to grow and cook. Minecraft is simply put a game that will never get boring, there are always endless possibilities of how you can choose to play the game and what you will build while doing so. And the spin-off games are just as much fun, allowing you to actually put a story to the wordless lore of the original game.
