So tomorrow marks two months since my grandfather passed away. I don't think it has actually hit my grandmother yet, sometimes it doesn't hit people for years. This isn't good though, things need to be done, we need to try and fill the hole he has left behind in our lives. It's hard to move on, especially if others are unwilling to let you.
My grandfather helped everyone with their car inspections, he helped build homes, he kept my immediate family in a somewhat non hostile relationship with the other part. These are all things that are falling apart without him.
We try to help but my grandmother won't let us. My dad is the only one who can come close to fillin the shoes but he isn't allowed to use anything that my grandfather touched. It's ridiculous. We need to start living our lives again. This can't continue, however sad the event was. I'm sorry.
