Kidnap (2017)
Summary:
A typical afternoon in the park turns into a nightmare for single mother Karla Dyson when kidnappers snatch her young son Frankie. With no cellphone and no time to wait for police, Dyson jumps into her car to follow the vehicle that holds Frankie. As the pursuit turns into a frantic, high-speed chase, Karla must risk everything and push herself to the limit to save her beloved child.
Notes:
-I wonder if they used real videos of the producer's kids or such
-What is with this white chic, she must drink Starbucks
-Has her son been there the entire time she has been working??? how long are her shifts??? and why is she the only waitress there?!?!
-That's a very nice car for a waitress....... wheres the dad??
-...she turns away from the road a bit too much to not be crashing.....
-very sad foreshadow by having her pretend he is lost and that she has lost him forever when soon enough it will be a reality
-the concept of the Marco Polo and knowing where Frankie is is brilliant
-the courts wouldn't take away full custody from her would they??
-I gotta be honest, she had some good grip to hold onto the car that long
-its amazing that she got through that intersection without getting involved in that car accident
-way to make 40 mph seem like 140 producers lol
-HOW DID SHE NOT GET HIT BACKING UP ON THE FREEWAY????
-they really want the kid but the question is why?? why are they going through all this trouble of throwing stuff out the back at her
-how did she hit that other SUV hard enough for it to turn over but she is still going....??
-things are that serious that she had to take her jacket off???
-why is she going off road?? is she trying to get back on?
-Why doesn't she think to write down details about the car and the people for when she goes to the cops????
-also, isn't she going to get charged for a hit and run?? oh, yup they just had it on the radio but they have the wrong person lol she wants to be caught xD
-he seriously got all of that on the recorder?!?! take it to the police!!!!
-THEY SLAMMED THE COP INTO HER!!!!!!!!!
-I don't know why you are getting out of your car lady, they obviously aren't going to get out of theirs
-...WHAT????? WHY WOULDN'T YOU GO FORWARD AND RUN HIM OVER?????
-I wonder what is going through his head.... he is stalling too long for it to be nothing of significance
-she was saying Brandon instead of Frankie...................
-I would not have put her in the back where she can put a knife to your neck
-I TOLD YOU HAVING HER BEHIND YOU WASN'T A GOOD IDEA
-I get that she was being attacked but she just threw her only link to her son out of the car
-BRILLIANT! she tricked him by wearing the fatso's jacket!!
-Does she even know where she is at this point???
-Well now they are on foot so it should be a little easier to find them...I hope
-they got a new car.....
-...so she is perfectly fine flipping over a SUV and possibly harming those people but needs to save the blonde chick?
-oops, outta gas
-...uh film crew, you had a fraction of a second long clip where the road had a single yellow dotted line instead of double solid lines......
-what if her son's fingers had been in the door when she slammed into it to stop it from opening???
-OH SNAP! the guy in the black Volvo came back from the 'dead end' and slammed into the truck she just climbed into
-She looks like a zombie now; yellowish green skin, static blown hair, blood dripping nose, bruised eye....
-when the heck did he get a double barreled shotgun from? was it in that Volvo?
-okay so 1) she wouldn't be able to just grab onto the barrel like that because it would be hot from just firing and 2) since when were they on a hill of any sort for her to go back?
-down the dead end is the place, he dropped the kid off and came back to finish her off
-I was expecting more of a rundown hillbilly shack.....
-okay I get that she doesn't want to knock and alert other kidnappers to her presence but I wouldn't want to just walk in either......
-well, the fatso managed to get home
-if the mother is such a problem then why didn't they drop the kid and just pick up another? I know that's horrible to say but still
-if she still has the phone why didn't she call 911 back to update them??
-what happens when the kid comes up behind her spooking her and she swings the knife cutting him
-that was very smart pushing the boat out while they hid under water
-obviously she hit the dog I just hope the kid is doing alright too
-you know, she really isn't that messed up (bruises and such) so would the cops even believe her and the kids when they recount the story?
-NOW THEY CAN'T TAKE CUSTODY AWAY FROM HER XD
Overall Review:
While the movie was really emotional and had some really thrill packed scenes;
